The spear is a melee weapon found in Afraid of Monsters: Director's Cut. It has notibly further range than any other melee weapon in the game and is the only weapon capable of damaging The Addiction without also damaging the player.
Appearance[]
The spear had a slightly weathered wooden handle and lightly rusted metal head. Blood can also be seen on the end of the weapon.
Location[]
The spear's spawn location
The spear is found during the final boss fight of ending 4 in heaven. It's on a table/ledge opposite the mirror the Addiction enters through.
Tactics[]
- Attacking while in mid-air can save you from taking damage from the electrical spikes while stabbing The Addiction for a short duration and for free damage dealt to it. This trick can be useful if executed correctly.
- Avoid attacking while in the pool of water as it will electrocute you and deal 2 damage
Trivia[]
- The Spear could represent a needle filled with something to save David or drain the pills from his body.
- The weapon has a glitched HUD appearance, stored in the first slot, and has no animation in third person mode.
